I have seen several ball pythons with dents in their eyes does any one know why thay have them? some times they look like retained eye caps but shure enough they are'nt whats it all about?

usually dents in eyes are because of a lack of humidity. do you know what humidity the cage is at? -Juggalo

Usually, correcting the humidity level will fix this problem at the next shed. Sometimes it doesn't though. I have seen a few very well kept snakes that just keep producing dented eyecaps.

My little "humidity Igloos" are working great! They spend quite some time in there, and within a few days I had three perfect sheds (one piece) and no dents on the eyes. They also seem to be eating better (maybe feel more comfortable).
I will add a pic in a few minutes...
Here we go :
Now, the heat pad is under the right side, the center is the igloo with Ryoko in it, and the left side is cool and water. [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]
