Alright, after months of searching for a good place to get a ball, i stumbled across a 2001 farmed ball who was raised in a pet shop. They said he eats 1 mouse a week, and i think that is true because he is fat and looks healths. Anyway, ive had him for a week, and i have some questions about handling him. About 2 days after i got him, i broke down and just had to take him out of the cage. He seemed very calm and did not "ball up". He just sat there and seemed to enjy himself. My Q is should i let him settle in for the usal 2 weeks before handeling him, or can i just start now. I only ask because he was raised in a pet shop, and was prob handled every day. Also, i was wondering if any1 knew a good website for childrens pythons, i held 1 today and was blown away by it! Thanks for help.

What I do if the snake seems comfortable with such..is go ahead and handle it a bit. Just make sure that if the snake seems to not like the handling too much ya back off a bit to let it settle in is all.

Welcome to RTB. Stick around and enjoy. I agree with Lori, if you think he feels comfortable, handle him a little, just give him some time to get accumstomed to his new environment. Goodluck with him.
