I was told by the lady i bought my BP at the reptile store that my BP was a female. She said it was a female cause of her stubby tail or something. Then yesterday one of my friends whos had a BP befor said that i couldnt tell by a stubby tail and if it had little claws or something by its opening it would be a male. So can u guys help me out on how to see if my BP is a girl or a boy?

Both males and females have claws. The males have a slightly longer tail but still very stubby. Only wat to tell is to have it probed by a profesional.

My little female has good sized spurs on her so Dan double checked her for me to be sure she is, in fact, a she. The tail is not a good tell-tale sign, either. Your Royal will need to be probed or popped to know for sure.

So what you're telling us is that you can't tell by the tail alone and therefore it's not a good tell-tale sign. Otherwise, not being a tattle-tale tail or is that a tale tattle-tell? Which could be bad

Take her to get probed by a pro... it's really the only way you'll know for sure.
