How does this work?

OK, I have a regular 5 year old female ball python and am going to breed it with my friends 66% het piebald. What will the babies be? Will they still be het for piebald just a lower %?

	Heterozygous Heterozygous - the animal carries the gene for a genetic trait but does not outwardly demonstrate the trait. Example: A boa that is het for albino looks normal but carries the albino gene. When it is bred to another het for albino boa or an albino boa, a percentage of the offspring will be albino.

66% het just means that there is a 66% CHANCE that it is het for pied. If you breed it with a pied or a known het and it produced pieds the 66% thing gets upgraded to 100% proven het. If you get zero, it gets downgraded to normal, het for nada. Breeding a 66% het anything to a normal will make all normal babies. Whether any will be het for pied depends on if his snake is actually het or not and yes, the odds go down each time a normal is involved.
