good price for bp?

at my local pet shop i seen a nice cb ball python for sale for 59.99 is this a good price he was about 10-15 inches, still feeding on pinkies. If this is too expensive please put a link for regular good priced (under $50) ball pythons.
the snake was in great condition and was very healthy

That seems like an ok price..the reptile store and the pet store that I go to sell them for $40 and $49 (depending on their size), the pet store is always more expensive.

yeah my local petshop is expensive they wanted around 70 for an albino motley corn snake i thought that was expensive, i know a guy personally who ownes a petshop near my house that can get me a ball python for 35 - 45 ill probably do that if they are cb

I think 59 is a little High but Petshops are gonna always raise the price if they are feeding. The Pet shop we go to the Owner does that.If its feeding he charges like 40 and 30 if its not.

i dont mind payin a little higher of a price but i just wanna get one for as cheap as possible without the expensive shipping. I want to get a baby female, and then later when i build a cage get a juvenile male of about the same age so i can breed them.

is it ok to use treated wood in a cage?
im goin to build a cage about 3x2x2 for a bp. It will be insulated and have a built in outlet. My uncle and my dad are goin to help me

Wow I have never seen a bp price that good. At the pet store I frequent they go for 129.00. Of course I got my first one last year from a breeder for 60. that is normal here.

They are different all over the place. My pets store is selling them for 80, constrictors.com sells males for 25 and females for 75, and kingsnake sells imported ones for 14 each.

I have 3 BPs and didn't spend a penny to get them.
I refuse to buy a BP since there are so many that need homes around me.
Besides that, they usually go for about $30 and up around here.
