Blood Python Sexing
I haven't been able to find much about sexing blood pythons. I bought my little baby Sumatran blood, Jupiter, from LLLReptile.com(love that site!) back in October of 2004.
From what I've read and such, they're difficult to sex compared to other python species because the depthness of when using sexing probes is much different, am I right? I'm thinking he's male, because when I used a sexing probe (of the proper size of course), it inserted to a depth of about the 9th caudal scale.
So would he really be male? Or could he even be female?

Mine is now 26 inches and 362 grams as of July 27th this year. He's not a year old yet, so yours sounds about right for it's size.

Re: Blood Python Sexing
probing would be the better more positive option though. go to a vet or a snake specialist.
