JCP cage

Just wondering if a 20gal long is too big for a baby carpet. I know they like smaller cages because they feel more secure, so do you think a 20 long is too big?

Nope. Just make sure there are a few hides and maybe even some fake ivy. He'll feel secure as long as he can feel invisible. LOL

i think thats rubbish about small tanks for small snakes like pathfinder said make sure theres plenty of hides and he'll be happy in a 100 gallon tank or a 20. and yeah that fake ivy has worked really well with my male bp he's very shy and stopped eating i chucked a load of fake ivy in its like a jungle but he's much happier eating like a pig.
