finally got a Jungle Carpet Python
oh man, I've been wanting one of these for awhile! Went to the White Plains Expo on Sunday planning on getting a nice one from Don Hamper. It was a very good day. Ann and I had our list and right away Ann found the tarantulas she was looking for and then at the end of the first aisle was Hamper's table. Got this little beauty. She's a few months old and is supposed to be eating a couple f/t fuzzies at a sitting. Here's a few pics of the new girl before we reluctantly put her in her new home. No striking but sure looked like she was thinking about it! The cage setup should be good, so except for checking temps and changing water (already used that as the bathroom last night) the hardest part will be just leaving her alone and letting her get comfortable.

I paid a 125. I was happy to have it come from someone I had checked out and who I felt I could believe about it eating f/t. He pointed out to me before and at the show which ones were eating live and which f/t. I was also looking at Will Leary but the show came before I could find out if I was going to be able to get one from him.
I saw another guy at the show who had some real nice looking babies and the adults looked awsome!! Jay McLear was his name and ww.bestboids.com is his site.
