Sometimes if the food item is to big the snake will regurge it. There is always a rule, to feed a prey item no bigger then the thickest part of your snakes body. Another problem is that the snake might not be getting enough belly heat (which can be fixed by purchasing an under the tank heatingpad). Without the proper heat the digestive fluids wont work as well and the body will reject the food. Give your snake a good couple of weeks to recover before attempted to re-feed. If the problem occurs again, take him to a vet.

did anything different happen? size of the prey, temps, something stressing him out? I usually leave my kingsnake alone when eating,,one time I checked right as he finished and it freaked him and started striking and regurged, only time that ever happened.

Could be snake got to Cold , Prey item to Big, Handling to soon there are lots of things that could cause regurgation. Dont feed it for 10-14 days as Long as it doesnt regurge the next time you feed it should be fine

Yeah Schmelkdog brought up another good point, Sometimes if you handle your snake after a meal, it might upset its stomach and regurge the meal.

yeah, well if the dog freaked him he could have got rid of it because he was freaked, that can certainly happen.
