Personal Python Massage Therapist
Just had to share this 'cause I thought it was cute.....
The other night I was sitting at my computer with my ball python, Zuri. I placed her in front of my neck and over my shoulders. She decided that since I was so nice and warm she would wrap herself completely around my neck and give me a big hug! (No she wasn't trying to choke me to death) Then she proceeded to try and travel around and around my neck. Her skin and mine kinda stuck together a little so it was slow going and took a lot of effort on her part. So for about 10 minutes I got a really great neck massage! Felt like 2 or 3 pairs of hands simultaneously massaging my neck, ha!
By the way, I wouldn't recommend this trick with a large snake......it might be the last massage you ever get.

yea, um *cough* the big ones tend to hug a little bit more.. heck my 6ft red tail has one heck of a grip. and dont get me started on my 8ftr
But I have to say, its an awesome feeling when they are moving around on you and you can feel their muscles moving.

I have to agree, I think its awesome handling them and feeling the amazing strength. The muscle tone in between my RTB and Burm is so different. The RTB is solid rock, heavy and super dense. The Burm is big, heavy, muscle tone is somewhat mush, cellulitish. Not sure if this is the case with all Burms, but every RTB I have handled has always been solid as a rock. The only time I really get to see the Burm exhibit strength, is during feeding time.
