Possible Free Ball Python

My husband came home and told me a customer in NY has a ball he wants to get rid of--don't know the guy probably won't meet him.
He has no idea what sex it is...but it's an adult...and he hasn't eaten in like 4 months.
I might be taking him in---but really have no desire for another ball python.
If anyone is interested in him once I get him eating (IF I get him eating LOL) let me know.
Free to good home---the only thing I ask is that you pay for shipping.
But that's later....let's see what condition he's in.....
I keep saying "he" but I have no idea really.
In any case this is basically a rescue situation---if he's not taken he will be desperately discarded from what I'm hearing....so I feel obligated. I know -- but let's not go there.
If someone is in NY or NJ they can save on shipping.

also I forgot to say--the guy who owns him now has been feeding live---when he gets the rat each week (which he has not eaten in 4 months)--he "throws" it in and leaves it in for 24 hours.
If then, the rat is not eaten---he takes it back to Petland--where they give him a refund and take back the rat!
This is yet another arguement against live, store bought food! If this animal is sick---those rodents that are being sold to you in the store are carrying god knows what back to the stock in the store---and YOUR collection
