Update - El Cajone

Wanted to say thanks for all the advice and support in creating a better home for El Cajone. As mentioned in the other thread I did get the heating pad, rearranged things, and set things in motion. He started showing more interest in his new home (with me that is) and peaking out of his hide more often. Of course I have not been home since Sunday but my daughter assures me he is doing fine, as is my Columbian (who I have finally named - she is now Shiva, pronounced Sheeva). Can't wait to get home - which should happen tomorrow evening. Will get El Cajone a mouse for dinner on my way home. Will get a pic of him sometime in the next week or so for you to see. His scarring is not really visible unless you are close to him.

Well - El Cajone cooperated 2 nights ago and was able to measure him. A whopping 33"! My goodness size can be deceptive - I would have never thought he was that long. LOL So . . . would anybody be willing to guess his age? If you have read about him you will recall his poor history prior to my acquiring him - I'm sure this would have something to do with growth so he could be older than his length would suggest. Of course I could be wrong as well. Have some pictures - but with monitor problems it's hard to see what they look like. grrrr! But hope to have things resolved in the next few days so perhaps next week will be able to post pics of both El Cajone and Shiva.
