Olympias finally eats f/t!!!!!!!!!!

Finally, today after more than 2 months of not eating my Ball Python Olympias snatched up a f/t mouse!! She was eating live mice when I got her, I'll never do that again. And so I like an idiot fed her live mice at first before trying to switch her, Yup lesson learned there too! So lately haven't been sure if she was slowing down for winter or refusing f/t or just the f/t rats. I actually dipped in a bunch of aspen shavings (the mouse) that had been, ah used by the mice at the store I guess is a good way to put it. I was just about to give up the dancing mouse bit when the smell kicked in and she struck, constricted and swallowed!!!!!!
well all I gotta say is this is about my best christmas present!!!
A mouse really isn't enough for her, hopefully she'll take scented rats soon but I'm happy about it and think I'll be smiling all day now.

My bp switched over easily. When I first got it I fed it live mice for a few weeks until it was more comfortable with its surroundings. Then I took a f/t mouse and used tongs to make it move around. It took a little while but he ate it. The live mice were more interesting.....but you can't beat f/t for convenience. Congrats dude.
