If anyone remembers, my ball had broken eye caps when I got him. And I later came to find out that these 'captive bred' balls were actually wilkd caught and they all had ticks and eating problems . He had broken eye caps when I got him which have since gone away because he shed a couple days ago. The problem is, the peices left on the edges of the eyes did not come off with the shed. I need suggestions on how I should get these off.

And an extra set of hands, cause he is gonna wiggle..a LOT!
If you don't feel you have steady enough hands, you can soak him for about 30 minutes to an hour and use a wet wash cloth on him. Just wrap it around his head some what and let him do all the rubbing work.
