Ball Python Eye-thing
I just bought a baby ball python, and it seems i didnt scan him for owwies good enough. his right eye has what looks like a peice of an old shed or something stuck "in" it, near the top left cornert of the eye (like if you looked at the side of his head straight on, mouth to the right, tail to the left). I am raising the humidity, should i let it go until the next shed, or should i try to pull it out? Thanks for any input,
Jayne

I wouldnt ever try to pull off a stuck eye cap unless you've done it several times, and it seems loose enough to come off.
raising the humidity is a good start.
I have had some success placing snakes in small containers with damp paper towel and putting them in a warm spot (78-82 degrees) and seeing if movement through the towel helps.
If your dead set on removing it manually, you may want to get a helper who has done it before, but I would only do that as a last resort.
If all goes well, when the snake sheds again (since its young, that shouldnt be too long from now) it will come off with the new shed.

In all actuality, it might be too stressful at this point to even try removing it, since the snake is settling into a new home. I know that one retained eyecap is not harmful in itself, and should come off with the next shed, provided you bump up the humidity as soon as his eyes go blue. The problem is when a snake has multiple retained eyecaps; blindness could result.
As you said, hopefully his next shed should remove it. I can't stress the importance of bumping that humidity level up enough! For BPs, I put mine at 85-90% as soon as I see blue eyes, and gradually lower it and let the cage dry out a bunch afterward (I don't want anyone getting belly rot.)

my camera is so shoddy theres no way i could post pics that you could make anything out. Its a pretty small bit, because as i mentioned, i didnt even see when i first "inspected" him before buying him. No matter i guess, since it should be fine and otherwise he seems very healthy.
