Raising Carpets

I have decided to start some future breeding projects. I am going to get 1.1 of coastal, jungle, and IJ babies. Maybe even Jags when money permits.

One problem. I can not keep them in my home due to present situations. My wife has agreed to rent me a room in her house. The room is in a basement, but all brick, and rather humid, so getting the numbers right shouldn't be a problem. I'll start out with rubbermaid containers and advance as needed.

I guess what I need is opinions on whether or not I should be seperated from them. Thermostates and heat/light will all be set up so nothing should go wrong. And I will be there twice a week, picking up and dropping off the kids.

If anyone has any babies for sale please let me know. Id like pics of the parents as well.

Tough spot, but if I were you I would wait till you can do it on your own. Not sure how you get along and how responsible she/they are. But i wouldn't trust many people with my snakes. Theres only a very select few that i would leave my snakes with even on a loan. I think its asking for trouble.

I wouldn't want to leave my babies with anyone else. Daily checking is, for me, a must.

well maybe the plan is moving here. taking over moms 16x36 foot family room as own little apartment. I can house the snakes in there. far enough away from step dad.

if u were to have them at a different location from u u woud have to run everything through timers and thermostats, but the upside is u wouldnt have to pay for the electric bill

I'd be reluctant to be separated from any of my animals. Especially if the person that I'd be leaving them with is not a reptile fanatic like I am. I guess it would be different if that person would be reliable enough to check in on them.
