My favorite is the children's / spotted python. gentle, easy going, great personality, good feeder and stays small, around 4-5'.
HAHA BRY..our children's python does not eat our children, we keep him well fed on persons named BRY/BRYAN. Wanna come over for dinner Bry?[addsig]

Drax, carpets are pretty good. They're usually snappy as babies. But if you work with them, they'll grow out of it.[addsig]

My favorite pythons would have to be Jungle Carpets, Womas, Black Heads.....
Dont like the rock, or burmese. dont like those big fat sluggish ones. Retics i do like because they stay slim and muscular and have probably the best patterns, with very irridescent scales but they are just too long for me to ever consider owning one....otherwise they would have made the list.

Well, I am reading this post and no one is mentioning ARP's until the last one. I love these snakes. NOT TO OWN thou. I just love watching them eating. I do not even eat meat, but I love to watch them down a Gazzelle. I think they are cool looking snakes and I know of a girl who witnessed a guy at a pet store trying to sell one saying it only got to 7 feet. She(my friend) went and got one of the snake books off the shelf, found one downing a Gazzelle and showed it to the woman interested in buying it. Needless to say, my friend got thrown out for killing a potential sell!!!
My fave Python actually is the Carpet I guess. I like them a lot.

I have to agree with most of you guys on most of those Pythons. My favorites are probably Albino Labrynth Burmese, (however thats spelled), I use to own a Jungle Carpet Python, but he never really passed the Neonate stage, he snapped at anything that moved, so I had to find him a new home. and last I like the Albino Retics that Im beginning to see all around. Those are really nice looking snakes!

i'm kinda like Julius when it comes to genetic oddities: nothing compares to what nature produced. yea some look cool but i'd take a wild type over a morph anyday (unless it was a minature albino retic that only grew to 5 feet long ). but the piebald balls are definately the cooled looking morph out there today (in my opinion).
