Cross your fingers...

After reading about potential "markers" for Pied hets i just had to go take a peek at my 2.0 o3 50%het Caramel albino's belly's.

"R-con" and "Recoil" are their names.

R-con shows the stripes somewhat but not like his little brother.
The pic is of Recoil.

...and i thought was was a patient man..lol

What are you supposed to be looking for exactly when you say "markers"?

Are they possible het pieds? If there was no pied trait in either parent, then it is just a chance marking. If there was a pied trait in either parent, I would still say it could be chance, as there are het pieds with and without the markings. I have a poss het pied here with very clean, straight black lines and a solid white belly, and even though he is identical to his het pied father, I won't really know until I breed him with a het female. This particular type of belly marking may/may not be genetic, but I have also heard it could be an indication of het pied. I'm waiting to see

not the best pic, but this marking goes from halfway down his body to the tail.

Yeah,i know its a theory for Pieds that isnt even 100%.
I was just thinking (hopefully, lol) its a "recessive" marker and not just a Piebald thing.
Both of my 2.0 are very light (which means absolutely nothing as well, lol).
btw: I got them from Stu.

Good luck with Koko,he does look promising.
Like you say..time will tell.

BTW, Koko came From Rich's Het Pieds, he(Rich) should have some pieds this year
