Okay, so we just learned imperatives and we already learned reflexive verbs. I finally understand where "levantate" comes from! I understand why it would be wrong to say "se levantate". That would not make sense. I could understand "levantase" if you are talking to the snake in the polite form. And let's face it, if you encounter a venomous snake in the jungle, you'd want to be polite with it. Por favor, habla conmigo en espanol y correctame. Necesito apprender.

Thanks, if I may say, your English, grammar and spelling are excellent - better than most Americans (sadly). I hope some day to teach English in Costa Rica. At least that way I'll know they are learning proper English. Donde vives en Mexico? Estas cerca de una playa? Si, apprendo rapidamente porque hablo frances tambien.

Thanks for the timely Spanish lesson. The person who told me "se levantate, se levantate, culebrita" es de Colombia (!). Perhaps the language is different there? Anyway, what is the difference between a serpiente and a culebra? Tengo dos clases de espanol ahora y estudio cada dia. Es muy importante hablar espanol en Costa Rica. (Please feel free to correct my Spanish. I would like to learn it correctly.) Any yes, PLEASE do not take any spelling/grammar lessons from people on this site. ha ha
