abused snake. who do you call?
the security guy who works where i do has a day job doing stuff to apartments he told me last night that there is a 10 foot albino burm in one of the apartments that is in a 3 foot cage. no water nothing. it cant move around at all. he wont tell me where the apartment is. hes scared i will go make a scene. but if i can find out what to do we can call animal control or the humane society or whatever. someone please tell me the best thing to do for the snake

About all you can do now is keep it in your mind, but get in good with the maintenece guy.
See if he can get something worked out, such as getting you together for education, printed caresheets etc or to ask about selling it.
Remember, not everyone that is neglecting an animal realizes that they are.
Many times it is due to bad information from the beginning, such as the famous 'It can live in a ten gallon all its life' as often heard in pet stores...

but can anyone be dumb enough to think it is happy and it cant even move. i can get info on the people who own it. im the guys boss that knows. maybe if i talk calmly tonight about it he will tell me. i cant believe it if a dog was being abused you could call so many places. this is gonna huant me tili i can do something about it. maybe they will sell it to me and i can give it someone that will take care of it. i cant have anymore snakes. the 4 i have keep me hopping as it is.

Louise.. if all you knew about your snakes was that they would live in a 10 all their life.. you wouldn't realize anything other than that you were doing it right and that they were happy.
Maybe that's all they know about keeping it.

okay. i will get in touch with the owners and if it is the reason and they cant get a bigger home for it i will get them one. i hope that is all it is. stuff like this really tares me up inside. i keep picturing it in my mind.

You are probably exactly right... assuming that they will listen. If they get all snotty and refuse to listen to you, the best thing you can do is just walk away. If you make a huge scene, THEY could call the police and YOU would be at fault. I don't want that to happen to you.
