I just got hired as a summer camp counselor at the Santa Barabara Zoo. My job entails leading a group of 20 kids around the zoo and telling them about the animals as well as organizing activities. The best part though is I will be handling and showing plenty of reptiles. The list includes various kingsnakes, garter snakes, a "mean" pine snake, prehensile tailed skinks, blue tongued skinks, ground boas, and they even have a 15' burm that I might get to work with. There are other herps too, but those are the ones I can remember off the top of my head and the ones I am excited about handling and showing to kids. It should be a great job ($8/hr) where i make money and get to work with herps. I cant wait.
