pet shops
Today I went into a store to get some pinhead crickets and they had a small rat snake in a cage with a significantly larger red tail boa...so I told them what was going and they casually laughed and said that that happens all the time...because apparently the animals that they have in the cages can easily travel to the next cage...I just thought that was a little odd...

That's not good. i work at a pet store part time and it's a pretty big place that every employee has a speciality with the store. What type of cages do they keep there anaimals in. here are some pics of the animals and employee's at the jungle.

i can only go to my nephews pet shop. i went to the trade center pet shop one time and i had to be taken out of there by my nephew with his hand holding my mouth shut. i swear if my nephew wouldnt have stopped me i would have seriously hurt the person working(or should i say talking on the phone)

AHHHHHH!!!!! We need more people who actually care about the animals in petshops. I hate Petco the most, sorry for anyone who works at one, the local petco tells people to feed crickets to baby snakes, have adult leos with babies in the same cage all the little one with really bad nipped feet and tail, sometimes lying dead in the cage and everyone has a tiny skinny tail. I had to point out a dead bird three times on three consecutive days before I got #$%^$%^$%^$%^$%^$%^& off and pulled it out myself and handed it to someone and the final draw was when I saw a young patternless leo with a broken arm... bone sticking out and arm dangling!!! When I pointed out the poor guy they laughed and said he will be ok, someone is sure to not notice and buy him!
EEEEEERRRRRRRRR! Places like that give petstores all over a bad name. Well I hate petshops like that. You should ask to see their manager and explain how they can make more money by doing things right. That way they would have healthier animals and more happy return customers!

Yea to be honest I dont like petstores I have asked workers about here snakes and they couldnt even tell me anything about them, and the thing that got me was that the snakes where petty comman snakes, like BP's, redtails, and corns. But my point of veiw on petstores isnt very good. Cause pretty much out of all the petstores I have been to, the only info I can get is the the name of the snake, so That makes me think that all they care about is maken money instead of caring for there animlas

Very nice looking store Tony.
I was at a local pet store and they where selling a Yellow anacanda. It was maybe 4 ft. I asked to handle it. The guy said it is really aggresive. I said "so, let me hadle it". So i got him out. never once hissed to struck. Then I was kind of talking to the snake, saying your going to be big aren't you. The pet shop guy asked me how big will it get. Ahhh..........Shouldn't he be telling me???
