scared me
i woke up this morning went to say hi to all my snakes and turn on their lights.jasmine (my RTB) was not in her cage,i started looking under waterbowl,hide spots everything well it hit me and i started cyring.i sat there looking at my favorite snakes cage,emty!well i happen to glance over and there she hung IN MY MOUSE CAGE!!!she hasn't eaten since jan 30 andi was getting worried, i had tried everything.she had climbed in the bars of the cage but when she ate she couldn't get back through i guess she wanted to eat on her own terms.talk about relief.i checked her for bites and not a scratch on her.

she only got 1 mouse. the ppl who had her b4 fed her live and i won't feed her live so she hasn't eaten in over 2 weeks.i was trying fresh killed or f/t all kinds i even did the "mousy dance" for her to make her think it was alive and she still wouldn't eat.yeah mice r going in a diff room....still blows my mind i had read that you could catch a snake like that.well i guess you can! |

Whats your cage setup like? maybe there is something keeping her out of the feeding mode?

normal temps hide spots,water everything.i had just moved her cage to a lower traffic area that was the only thing i could think why she would not eat b4.i guess that was it.
