never got bit by a snake yet---what's it like? Anything like a lizard?
Is your real name Amanda? That's my older daughter's name. She's such a doll

once while feeding, one of my corns came completely out of his enclosure before i got the mouse to him. he's in the bottom enclosure of the case and i was sitting on the floor. he was nearing shed and when he smelled the mouse he struck, missed the mouse and got my big toe! not alot of pain but freaked me non the less. kind of felt like a mouth full of micro-needles. then i had to sit there calmly while he took awhile to disengage from my toe. to me, the fear of being bitten is far worse than actually being bit.

How did you get the snake to disengage from your toe? How large was the corn? My daughter's snakes are still pretty small.

as soon as he bit me he knew it wasn't a mouse and started trying to get his teeth out of me. since their teeth are curved it took a couple of minutes or so for him to work them free. he was about 3ft. at the time. Nicole, please don't mis understand me. this was not the snakes fault. this was definately a stupid human trick!

Nicole, yes my name is really amanda and the bite didn't really feel like anything...but that is also because my snake is only about ten inches long...but i doubt it would really feel like much anyway.. the only lizards i have been bitten by are the ones that i used to catch in my backyard when i was little and it probably feels about the same as my snakes did, accept that the lizards would actually hold on. My iguana never bit me

I have been bit by a jeweled lacerta, and an AuWd....but the worst bite had to have been my daughter's hamster....I needed antibiotics
