breeding mice help
i have a breeder that just won't give birth!she is so huge that she literally can't walk anymore she just drags her legs behind her.she is eating/drinking well and other than be pregnant she looks fine she is as active as i think she can be.i know this might be a silly question but is there any way to "help" her.i don't want to lose the pinkies.there are no males or female with her in cage.thanks!

what are you feeding her?
She may not be preg, but have some type of bloating from the food she is getting.or it could be a tumor.

How long has she been pregnant? She'll probably drop in the next day or so. We used to breed our own mice and rats (bloody smelly!) and they do suddenly seem to grow massive in the very late stages.

yeah the mice get very large....even hamsters...I had a hamster get huge and she ended up having NINETEEN babies! It was a record for anyone I spoke with.
That smell is the musk from the male mouse...and it stunk so bad it was not worth it for me to breed...

Not to be rude, but you feed fuzzie mice to a RTB? Most are born willing and able to take pink rats... and rats are much healthier.
