No argument. Of course persue your dreams. Find what you want to do and persue it. I know several people that make a living with wildlife. I think that the major thing is to have something to fall back on since the odds are against it. I was always told to have a back up plan. So far, it has worked out well. By working full time at a "real job", I have been able to gain a tremendous amount of experience and contacts in reptiles. While I have had several job offers, none could pay a living wage for me (college debt hurts alot

). So I continue to do what I do, I work, I teach envenomation, i give educational programs and displays, I even breed a little. And eventually I will be doing EXACTLY what I want to do. But I can't complain now. I am pleased. I was in school for a Biology degree. But I ended up doing tech work and graphic design for an architecture firm

And I love it! If I could only work 4 days a week, it would be perfect! And they even let me off work to do educational programs!
Plan for the best, prepare for the worst, and chase your dreams. It just may take some time and alot of work to get where you ultimately want to be.
