what does this mean?

ok, i feel sort of dumb for asking this, because i think this is obvious to all of you, but what does it mean when someone says:
1.1 BCI
0.0.1 ETB
2.5 BP
etc....
lol, im thinking 'how can you have two and a half snakes!?' but i know there's a real meaning to this somewhere...just cant seem to figure it out.

Actually what it really means is that they need to get their Emerald probed and they better be reading up on how to incubate Ball Python eggs.
