This is REALLY weird!!
OK...I was about to take out one of my redtails tonight and she bit me! She NEVER does that! THEN I went to take out one of my balls, and guess what.....SHE went to bite me! What the HECK is going on here??? They NEVER do that to me! All were fed a few nites ago and I just started cooling my balls last night (I know..kinda late, but better late then never..especially since there's 6 more weeks of winter!). 
Any idea on WHY they'd be doing this? Girl RTB isn't even of breeding age yet, and not being cooled.

first, no need to cool any bci.
Second, were you wearing any lotion or perfume? One ofg my normally calm bci's bit me for the second time Saturday night... stinker, LOL |

Nope..no perfume or lotion. I'm allergic to most of that stuff anyways..  Now I'm nervous to get back in there....obviously I'm not gonna do it tonite..but it's just so weird! |

I know some people may not believe this but weather changes can affect the way the animals react. Also did you rule out the snakes shedding.
Also did you play with a dead rat before trying to handle them? I know we all do it alot and 99.9% of the time its never a problem, but trust me on this one...it can cause a issue (I know your thinking I am crazy)

Did you play with any other animal...like a rabbit or chinchilla? My boas think that my new kitten is dinner  They get into feed mode if she walks in the room. |

Nope..none of the above. I have no mammals in the house (besides my fiance..hehehe), and I wasn't about to feed them, plus I don't feed in their enclosures anyway. Maybe it was the weather. Here's another thing my fiance threw out at me.....maybe b/c it almost the time that....um...Aunt Flo comes to town? Could they know that?! |

Just my two cents... what kind of soap do you use in the shower? have you changed as of late?
I only say this because my wife changed to some fancy soap and the snakes went nuts, everytime she came near they would lash out at her. She changed back to what she was using, no more issues.
