Fantasy Football WK 8

Well boys and girls...this was an exciting week! We had some real nail-biters decided by the MNF game. In the closest of the two, the Terror squeezed by the Rattlers. Last week the Terror lost to DaBears by .2 of a point; while this week they were able to turn that around, winning by the narrow margin of .8 of a point! In the second closest game our number two and three teams battled it out for the number two spot. The Destroyers came out victorious behind a very strong performance by the Miami Dolphins Defense. This puts the Destroyers squarely in second place. Congrats to them!
We had two teams this week come up with HUGE scores. The Pythons routed the Constrictors winning by over 60 points while DaBears pole-axed the Sidewinders, beating them by nearly fourty. The Sidewinders put up a great score, but it's hard to top 130 pts in one week.
In the final game of the week, the Maniacs winning streak came to a stop when they met the Donkeys. The Donkeys won by only 3 pts. but that puts them in a tie with the Hustlas and DaBears for third.
It's still anyone's game, and it will be interesting to see what the next few weeks bring with some of the trades around the leauge. Let's keep the interest high...I think we will see some more trade offers this week as some players we thought would perform did not, while others did.

Here are this weeks final scores:

Trinitywolfs Terror 74.50
The Rattlers 73.70 final

Pythons 109.80
RTB Constrictors 42.90 final

Elgin Destroyers 83.75
Sac Town Hustlas 80.05 final

Donkeys 66.20
Mortis Maniacs 62.55 final

DaBears 131.15 <---WHOA!!!
Sidewinders 94.60 final

Next week there are some tough match-ups in the NFL, so it should make for interesting games here in the RTB league. These are the match-ups for next week:

Trinitywolfs Terror
Mortis Maniacs v.

Pythons
Sidewinders v.

Elgin Destroyers
RTB Constrictors v.

Donkeys
Sac Town Hustlas v.

DaBears
The Rattlers v.

Now let's hear some reaction to the games this week guys! What do you guys think about Griese? I think we have a new leader for the Phins!!

Good luck to everyone next week!

Pole-axed? M'kay. lol

I must say I was quite impressed with my results. Kinda nice to see what the team can do when most of them perform up to par. I got a couple nice scores from a couple dormant receivers, and HUge sweet pick up of Harris for St. Louis with their RB shuffle going on. I just flat out got lucky on that one. Scary thing is I had actually 3 players that were far from normal performance.

NOW whats REALLY scary is the fact the Destroyers are winning!!! Strutter hasn't subed his lineup, since opening day. He is still playing Marshall Faulk. He had 3 totally non productive spots and they are KEY spots all 3 involving RBs that are NOT playing. That is just SOOO wrong on so many levels.lol

I am so not looking forward to having Manning face the Phins next weex after last nights perfomance . OUch

As far as Griese I think he's a great QB and I would love to see him get a starting role in Miami. I was really hoping the Bears would have picked him up. But that would have made sense. And we all know Chicago really hates to have a winning team. Don't know how they would handle spending money to support a winning team.

I see Morti was doing some lineup shuffling last night.

Oh and just for the record, my back up QB faced a tough Steeler defense and still put up 25 points. I know theres a few teams that could use a VERY solid QB. Hit me up guys. Still waiting for Strutter. I'll give him another day or so.
