Moving Help

Hey all!

My fiance and I are moving into our new apartment in 2 weeks (Nov 8th), and I was curious if anyone has any helpful info as to how we can move them with the littlest stress. The new place isn't that far from where we are now, only about 15 min. I was going to clean out their enclosures a few days before and just keep them on paper towels or newspaper, and then the day of the move just put them in snake bags. But, what should I do about my tegus, leos and sulcata?
I've never moved with animals before, and I don't want to cause too much stress.

Any info would be most helpful!

HEHE... moving with herps is FUN!!! I have had to move four times with herps. They are usually the first to go and be setup. The second to last time we moved from austin to dallas in two uhauls. I put the snakes in smaller tubs and stacked them up on the floor and on top of the longer tubs on the seats. My wife had more of the little ones with her along with the two dogs and the cat. Invest in some rubbermaids, they will always come in handy. This last time we moved we moved in a few hours, we had all the furniture and everything in the house, then I picked up the snakes and set them up that night. They didn't stress too much. they ate the following day. Also don't feed them for a week before the move, let them get everything pretty much out of their system. That way you don't have to do double work when everything's done.
