Oh yes... i've been at it again!

This time i've been thinking about shedding.

wanna know what i've been thinking about it?

i've been thinking about shedding and sex. now at first these two things may not seem to have much in common but i think that, in fact, they do have at least one thing in common and i think snakes get something out of it as a result.

what am i talking about? well, firstly i'm talking about necessity.

snakes MUST shed. they also, like most things have to have sex for the species to survive...

Secondly i'm talking about the pleasure that makes sure the necessity happens...

the basic upshot of this, and this is what i have been thinking about is that snakes gain pleasure from shedding.

they like it. it feels good, maybe not like sex but at least as good as taking your shoes off atfer a hard days work...

maybe even as good as getting those cheesy bits out of the corners of your toenails and then sniffing them... maybe sheeding skin for snakes is even as good as that...

but yeah... that's what i've been thinking about...

SNAKES ORGASM WHEN THEY SHED! that, that's basically why they do it...

or rather... why they want to do it...

I think you're on to something there, Moony. My snakes are always grouchy just before a shed, and it's usually a while in between sheds. Then they shed and they're all happy and good again...I don't know about ya'all, but I tend to get grouchy... 'nough said.
