Fantasy Football Wk 5
The big winner this week was the Maniacs with their first victory of the season! Congrats to the Maniacs! DaBears were DaStroyed by the Elgin team, who lived up to their name this week. The Terror and the Hustlas are still vying for first place in the league as the Terror trails by 9 points overall. The Hustlas are on a four game winning streak and looking UNSTOPPABLE as they only gain momentem. Watch out for these guys, Vick is back in two weeks, and should make them very difficult to beat.
Here are the totals for the Scores this week:
Trinitywolfs Terror 94.05
Donkeys 77.05
Pythons 68.25
The Rattlers 71.60
Elgin Destroyers 116.10
DaBears 31.35
Mortis Maniacs 70.90
RTB Constrictors 68.45
Sac Town Hustlas 87.45
Sidewinders 40.20
Next weeks games should be exciting...Good luck GUYS!!

Come on Vick, hurry back! I'm hoping Vick, Jurevicius, and Porter all get back to playing shape real soon! Luckily most of the bye weeks for my guys have passed and now I can mix things up some more. You had a close one til Brad Johnson stepped up Trinity! Congrats to the Maniacs for Win #1!

yeah I did...but I expected Brad to come through for me. Tampa has had some tough games and IMO Johnson never gets the respect he deserves. They will be back in the playoffs this year for the NFC and possiblly back in the Super Bowl. I think in the end, last nights game ended the way it did b/c Manning simply picked up the Colts and carried them to victory. Tampa made some small mistakes but Indy just simply played flawless the last quarter. Period.

Where's my boy Edr? He's kinda quiet this week....he should still be happy, his Bears beat the worst team in football. LOL
Man...Oakland gets older and worse by the day...at least SD has room to improve and their future looks bright with David Boston and LaDanian Tomlinson. It must be grim in Oakland's fan-land right now.

Oh man, I was just 2 points behind your team before last night's game, Ted. I thought I had this week's game in the bag, until the Tampa Bay defense blew the 4th quarter. My team needs to start getting their act together, that's the 3rd straight loss.

I agree with ya that Brad Johnson is underrated. In all the Super Bowl Hoopla no one really ever mentioned him last year. All the talk is always about the TB defense. Yes they have a great defense, but someone has to put points on the board. Johnson has great poise in the pocket and does great in spreading the ball around even if all 3 TD's were to McCardell! Who has him by the way curious to see how many points he pulled for someone. I think Johnson doesnt get much respect because Sapp is so loud and all the attention goes to him. He is a bit annoying. Oh and that "running into the kicker" call in OT was lame, not as lame as the "Unsportsmanlike Conduct" call on Rice though. I was pulling for the Colts, but they shouldn't have been able to re-kick that one.

Oh and on a side note, I am interested in trading Collins, Gannon, or Owens, or a combo of two of em. I'm ready to entertain some offers. Oh and if the Destroyers read this i have a trade offer you have yet to approve or reject, and another team too, DaBears maybe.

I may be able to trade for one of your players. Let me take a look through my roster and see if I can figure something out.

Yeah, where is Ed, he is almost always on this topic posting on Tuesday. And i do have a trade offer awaiting his approval/rejection! Ed_r if you're there take a look at it, so if its a no-go i can make some other offers elsewhere.

Yeah...I thought you had a chance to beat me too Bry. I made some real dum-dum choices this week. Like running the Seattle def instead of Oakland...18 pt swing...then I didn't play one of my running backs b/c I didn't think he was going to play...22 pt swing...If I had played those two I could have really put some pts up this week. DOH!!
Oh well...a W is still a W.

Yeah, I also had Keyshawn Johnson who played on TB. But he didn't have a big game, while Brad Johnson (your QB), Keenan McCardell, and my TB defense did. That is, until the Colts rallied from behind and won Monday Night.
