Last fecal you had?
Just curious if anyone has ever been checked out for parasites. It occurred to me talking to an importer who said that when he doesn't feel good, he drinks some Panacur. It is possible that those that deal with alot of herps (particularly WC) would contract some nasties.

I never really thought about that, but it certainly seems like a good idea if you are constantly in contact with WC/freshly imported animals. We all know that wild populations are not exactly babied when imported so it would not surprise me at all that many of them come in covered in poo. That's a number one way to get a good infestation of worms going. YUCK! lol I'll have a panacur kicker with dinner please.

I have actually thought about this, mainly as a passing thought, but never considered it too seriously, yet.
My basis of it being a fleeting thought, is that (hopefully) most herpers practice good cleanliness protocols.
AND, it seems that the majority of us do have some contact with furry animals, whether it is as personal pets or a brief passing and more likely to contract a variety of parasites from the furrys, due to complacency, habit or laziness in not washing completely or at all after handling 'furrys'.
After all, pretty much all of us stress cleanliness etc while and after handling reptiles, but many either forget or don't think that 'fluffy' could carry and pass bad things to us.
Example -
When you have youir first child.
You see a speck of dust land on the pacifier..
Immediately, it is dipped into alcohol, rubbed with peroxide, boiled for 15 minutes, TWICE, then stared at for an hour before giving it back to the baby.
After you have the fourth child, you observe the child sticking the paccy in the dogs mouth, then back to his, repeating this for hours and you think "Oh well.. why bother"....

If I had parasites, I'd embrace them.
Leave little tidbits for them to munch on and so forth.
HAHA!
