Hey I recently just was able to get into chat via Java.......because I was banned. But I couldnt get into mirc?? How come I could get into the chat through java butr not mirc......
Now I cant access either? Was I rebanned! What did I do

I cant seem to connect via my bnc... I was able to get in via direct connect... but very odd how I could not connect via my bnc

lol,
normally I would agree with you, but I dont think its the client... I have setup and run a few ircds before. I am pretty sure its the connection class is restricted or the number is maxed on the connection allows. *shrug*
I have tried to connect via Windows (mirc), Linux (#$%^&#$%^&#$%^&#$%^&#$%^&-x), bsd (#$%^&#$%^&#$%^&#$%^&#$%^&-x, psybnc) of them, only the windows connected while I was on a dial up connection.
dunno. could be a lot of things. does rtb.net run that server or are they just on that server?

We are just on that server..
If you are having con probs, try putting this in the text box on the status screen /server irc.sorcery.net 9000 and hit enter.
I know that #redtailboa does not have a user limit set on it...
But then again.. sorcery can be flaky at times.....

yep, that got it... never seen an irc network run on ports above 7000
