I do!
Really cool, around -15f cool.
I work in here, the freezer.
Normally it hovers around -15f with an icecream room that is set at -25f.
Look at the blower units on the far wall and the yellow door guard, that's ice on there.
You can also see one of my wheel tracks in the frost on the floor in the center of the lane.
The frost on the floor is from the humidity that flash freezes and is carried to all the freezer areas by the air from four blowers.
We even get snow every night. (pic with flash to capture the weather system)
Just in case you're curious how I got the pics from way up there, my lift goes up, with me of course.
And since it is very cold with costant wind, you have to dress for it.
At the end of the night, when the warehouse is quiet, you can hear ice growing....
The best thing is that I don't have to mop up the puddle my lift leaves behind.

That thought is a little spooky...I'm imagining a nice warm beach right now! lol
What kind of safety measures do they have to keep someone from freezing to death in there, Eddie? I know that has to be a VERY real hazard. I'm a safety professional, so I'm always really interested to hear how other industries protect their employees from the hazards of the jobs they perform.

It's not all that bad, Ted.
The biggest thing is to NOT dress too warmly.
And to stay moving.
Dressing too warmly will make you sweat way too much, soaking through and then freezing your suit.
Dressing almost lightly, will keep you dry and warm, as long as you move to generate body heat.
In any event, if you get too cold, just go outside for a few and you can feel an immediate difference.
Myself, I wear a thin carhart style suit thats full of holes, a long john shirt and sometimes a sweat shirt under the suit. I still sweat through the suit anyways, but i move so much that it doesn't get a chance to ice up on me.
The only 'specialized' clothes I wear are socks with pouches on the toes to hold a set of handwarmers. They are from the HotHands company and help keep the steel toe warmed up so the toes don't fall off. Good leather insulated gloves, standard harness etc.

Also forgot to add...
Being in an environment like that , at night, with all the humidity hitting the floor.. anything over 65f and ANY humidity feels like a desert and a jungle mixed.

Ummm If you have ever been to Eddie's house...this job is fitting. His A/C unit is roughly twice the size of his house. I'm a big guy and prefer to stay cool...but brrrrrr eddie keeps his house probably pretty close to the temp he works in LOL.

That looks like a shrunk down version of our warehouse at work. As for the cold you can keep it. But I did live in Alaska and managed -60F without the windchill. Got to hear the northern lights so I know what you mean about hearing the ice. Now I work in the heat. It's normally about 95f in my department. Every 3 weeks we clean in the press room. According to the rayteck it is 140f in the room and 210f in the press. Fun fun fun.
Oh and remind me never to visit eddie. I'd die in the cold he calls his house.
