Re: i'm sorry
Check also if there are any schools of veterinary medicine near you....a young man in college who can't have his own pets now but wants to learn about them anyway? Maybe one planning to be a vet or zookeeper someday...? They are out there! Or like someone working at the zoo, wanting/needing more experience...? may welcome such a chance (no pun intended!) & think of how you can influence them too, to better understand snakes the way you do?

Louise, where in Michigan are you? I have a friend in the East Lansing area who would I could ask about helping you take Max out? She has lots of snakes and one of our good friends (mongoose on this site) as a burm that our friend has handled before.

I wasn't really talking about anyone working in the petstore...but people working there will often "know someone"....or some have bulletin boards too? It's just a likely place to find an interested person...
A while back, I was interested in a ad for a Trans Pecos ratsnake, and someone named Anaconda Man had one for sale in a ad. I ended up getting mine elsewhere, but meanwhile I learned he was working part time at the (Bronx) zoo, & going to college for vet medicine & was totally into the big stuff, though he had none at home. He told me that, but being the cynic, I called the zoo and asked! (I was looking for verification, since I had nothing else to go on...) They spoke well of him! My point is, it's easy to call the nearest zoo...put a want ad on their bulletin board?

Awwe. I'm so happy for you!
If I lived anywhere near you, I'd love to help. And then you could get tiny Tristin kisses too. Hehee.
We expect LOTS of pictures, okay?

No need to apologize, little bro. And remember, where there's a will, there's a way. Keep thinking about how you can get him back and it will happen. I guarantee it.

Re: i'm sorry
What about Sam? You don't even need the same person all the time. You could have people rotating once a month. You could cook them dinner or something and make a night of it.
