Old Biddy goes to Florida...!
So, I did go to South Florida (Coconut Creek mostly) for one week which i spent with my daughter and grandchildren, so here are a few really boring, corny pictures. I had a wonderful, boring, corny time.
The beach was amazing, it went on and on forever. Went to Pompano Beach and Hollywood Beach.
And that is this really old woman I saw at a Reptile Store in Coconut Creek, having the audacity to pretend to help the owner hold the snakes while he cleaned the enclosures. Some people just cannot help themselves. 
Liked the sign outside the Reptile Store!!! 
Last one is my friend and I getting happy on Hallandale Beach & Bud.

Looks like you had a great time. I have to wonder, just how many of those snakes "accidentally" found their way into your luggage and are now residing in Jamaica.  
I did not see any photos that contained an old woman.

John how sweet of you not to notice any old woman. Dear boy.
I certainly thought about the smuggling thing, but that is not in me..too much of a coward (and maybe even a bit wise in my old age too!.)
I wanted to go to the Glades and do some herping, but with only one week and my daughter scared to death of snakes...!! Next time I hope!

Yeah? Hey great pictures...I'm really impressed by the second to last one where you not only hold a snake but do so while defying gravity!!! 
Afterthought: maybe we'd see more reptiles driving if only they had parking places!
I do hope you get to do more herping next time and get some of those burms out of the swamps?

Very nice pictures, Tammy, thank you! I have to make my way out to Florida sometime, it looks so nice out there. Plus it would be nice to just find gators out in the wild and whatnot.

there is a huge lake here about a mile away filled with hundreds if not thousands of gators

Thanks guys for all the nice things you said. Makes me feel better about being an old Biddy.
Yes, I loved Florida but it is a crime to spend only one week and not get to do the wild things I wanted to do...anyway, it was great.
Next time: Lake Okeechobee here I come!!! 
I shall post some more pics here soon when my daughter sends them to me. There is one of the Old Biddy actually braving the Rip Currents...
