Re: Are you laboring on Labor Day?
I think I'm going to take our son's bowling. We only go 3 or 4 times per year. Kind of a ritual.

Re: Are you laboring on Labor Day?
Labor Day means more time to labor in my studies. I might even go up to the hospital and get some extra clinical time in. I need all the learning help I can get right now.
I hope everyone else has fun and stays safe!

Re: Are you laboring on Labor Day?
You are such a high energy and multi-talented person. I can't believe some employer hasn't snatched you up. I think you should advertise you photography skills on CL. I'll bet you'd get some takers.

Re: Are you laboring on Labor Day?
I actually applied for a part-time job taking pictures of babies. Yes newborns...and I would have loved to get that job although it didn't pay much. There is something about being the first photographer to capture an image of that fresh life, the tiny faces filled with so much wonder.

Re: Are you laboring on Labor Day?
I will be laboring on labor day, but mine started on Friday. We live in a resort town and it's in a constant state of vacation around here. We had fireworks tonight. Hopefully tomorrow will not be too bad. I hope everybody has a great day no matter what they will be doing.

Re: Are you laboring on Labor Day?
Cleaning, painting, yard work, light carpentry work, etc, etc...Trying to get my house on the market and sold.
Funny story, when I called the guy at sherman williams to get some advise on painting my shutters, he told me to use some finger nail polish remover to see if it was painted with oil base or latex before.
I called him back to see if the paint thinner would work...
His reply, "oh yea, i'm sorry. I figured most people don't keep paint thinner, and I figured if you were painting on labor day, you must be married."

Well, we all know what you'd rather be doing...*fishing*
Good luck with the sale of your home. I've been hanging with mine for the last 5 years in the upside down market.
There's a big fair going on downtown today. I really really really want to go. But instead I have to get ready for my upcoming Costa Rica trip.

Re: Are you laboring on Labor Day?
Celebrated early and went out to Buffalo Wild Wings and enjoyed some great food, music, beer and company last night. About to head to Starbucks for some free coffee since I found an old gift card laying around the apartment.
After that it's off to the family's BBQ... Cheers!
