Just a love nip!
Ramses is my normally calm-tempered Brazilian Rainbow, but tonight he must've had somethin' up his vent!
He struck at me repeatedly, and after he calmed down, he decided to whip around and tag my arm.
It's a cute little bite (sorry about the poor lighting and crap cellphone picture). 
And the culprit...

Thank you for the compliments! I wish I knew more about where he came from; a friend of mine gave him to me after receiving him from a customer who didn't want him anymore. He is definitely one of the best Brazilian Rainbows I've ever seen.
Star, I think the only thing he wanted was a nice fat rat! I couldn't stop laughing after the bite last night, so he will be getting his meal this evening.

He shifts between a deep red, to burnt orange, to even a very light orange sometimes.

He is quite a handsome snake, Karley. Eventually I want to get a pair of rainbows....not sure which kind I want, but I would like some. Almost every single one I've ever held has bitten me, so there's a bond with that there species.
