True Blood Season 3

Does anyone else think they really "jumped the shark" this year?

I've been really dissapointed and don't see the show comming back for another season.

what do you guys think?

I haven't watched today's episode yet, so I'm not sure. I guess I'll put a further opinion about it when I watch it. Seems as if my daughter had a late nap today and isn't tired, so waiting on her to go to bed before watching it via On Demand. =)

it's alright i guess.
as per my woman, they're really nothing like the books.
since i didn't read the books, im alright with them. i didnt see last nites episode though.

I watched last night's episode late. There's one more episode this Season...but I can see there being another season unless they jump the gun come this next episode. I want to know more about Crystal's family & her back story. Then there's still the little story going on with Arlene about Rene's baby. I think another season could be possible.

I think this season has been fine, with the exception of the almost immediate weirdness shift in Russel Edgington's character.

Oh, and they are already signed for Season 4, and I believe shooting's already begun as well. I never read the books but my wife did, and she says the series is way better than the books.

I've enjoyed all the episodes this season. I need to catch the boyfriend up so he can get caught up with me! LOL.

Russel was just trying to cope with Talbot's death & apparently that was the only way he could say his good byes. My younger brother hasn't been wanting to watch it because of all the gay stuff that's been happening. LOL.

This is my fav season so far I like my vampire movies full of blood and guts and so far this is the first season that has delivered

I think everything has gone downhill a bit since season one. However it is still fun to watch. Weeds, TrueBlood and Spartacus are all I care to watch anymore. They have plenty to expand on. Eric and Sookie are destined to get it on soon, which will stir things up. Plus Lafayette and his boytoy went on an interesting V-Ride which could open some new evil doors. Who knows, it still beats watching Netwrk shows!

Weeds in another one of my fave shows too to watch.

I think I read somewhere online that in the books Eric & Sookie do develop some kind of relationship.

TB and Dexter are the only series I really LOVE.....and speaking of which, Dexter's right around the corner.

Maybe it's me, but I think TB and Entourage (my fav show) have been very week this year.

I'm surprised to hear TB is signed for a season 4! Typically HBO goes season by season.

I cannot wait for Boardwalk!! Worst thing they ever did was get rid of Sopranos!!!

HBO's biggest two screw ups EVER were cutting Deadwood and Carnivale prematurely. As for Sopranos - if my memory serves, they weren't allowed an extra season that they wanted, hence the crappy ending they intentionally gave us all. That ending was more of a finger to HBO than anything else, yet all of the fans are the ones who got screwed.

ya Deadwood and Carnival were my favs in their time! Unfortunately when you have such a great show going like those, I don't remember seeing any ended that was great. I actually like the Sopranos ended. The viewer ended it in there mind and I'm sure everyones was different. I thought that was a great concept.

LOL I am not the only one hooked on HBO tv series eh?

I love true blood. I think that the first season was so good that people are really critical of the new seasons. I personally think this season is better than season 2 was.

I cant wait for east bound and down season 2.

I'm kind of ticked that they're killing off Eric, or so it seems.

This weeks episode and last week's episode was kind of lackluster(besides finding out about Crystal and the werepanthers)... kind of.

I hope the season fanale delivers!

if they killing off Eric they are not going by the book at all, there are many things that Sookie and Eric through together in the books. but im enjoying this season more than the 2nd one.

Yeah, this season is definitely better than Season 2 - just for the fact they had werewolves. I'm a HUGH werewolf fan. haha. Also, I believe in the book Sookie helps Alcide become Alpha wolf of the pack n such - so idk if they are going to bring him back or not?

I don't believe Eric will die - if you remember when Godric met his true death it was quick because he was so old. Eric is younger than Russel, so Russel should die quicker since he's older.
