Well Water
Im moving to a new house and it has well water. Is it safe for my snakes drinking water and to defrost rats. Reason for asking is I remember seing a couple people post on forums about snakes dieing from well water.I dont think it is filtered. But I was thinking of putting one of those brita or pur things on the faucet.

That is a very good question, and unless you know more about the specific well information its hard to speculate.

If its a new well, odds are your city water board will have test information on it.
