Dr. Fry is adding a new section to his site about common herp related questions. Any suggestions?
These are more along the lines of Natural history and information about hte animals, not so much husbandry.

Why are snakes so evil and disgusting??? Why would anyone in their right mind want to keep reptiles??? Aren't all reptiles dangerous??? Shouldn't reptiles be banned since they endanger our society???
Oh, wait...you said along natural history lines, sorry!
Ok...aren't snakes a creation of the devil???
Whew...had to get that outta my system. In all seriousness (now) how about "what kind of environments do reptiles live in?", where he could describe how reptiles occupy nearly every climate zone except arctic. What are the varied diets of different types of reptiles? Why do reptiles shed their skin? Is this what you had in mind BW? Because the list could go on and on! Why doesn't my Ball Python eat?
What should I do before buying a snake?
What should I do if I have to remove a 'hot" snake from my yard.

Why does my kingsnake go all limp when she is in the blue?
Why does rattleless snakes rattle their tail?
How well can snakes see and smell? Specific to their breed, like boas, colubrids, etc.
Why does PK always look at me as though she wants to sink her fangs into my delicate flesh?

NO! Ever see 2 snakes even seem to care what another snake is doing? Snakes from other parts of the world rattle too and have never been exposed to rattlesnakes. Many snakes evolved the habbit of rattling to warn away grazing animals that might step on them or to scare away a preditor. Some rattle in dry grass or dry leaves...others can tail whip so fast that they create little sonic booms and don't need to rattle against anything. Then came the rattlesnakes...all they really did was take all this a step further so if anything...rattlesnakes mimic their ancestors only better...cept now that man has come along...listens for the rattles and kills them...they are DEvolving away from rattling and as a result could one day start being born rattleless but we won't be around to take note.
