Dr. Fry of the Australia Venom Lab and one of the most knowledgable people ont he planet about venom and toxinology has agreed to do an interview. You can view his site at http://www.venomdoc.com to learn about him.
Let's have some questions for him, they can be advanced or basic. From "How did you get into snakes?" to "Have you found there to be variations in the neurotoxic concentrations of Dendroaspis polylepis geographically?" I plan on picking his brain.
Between him and Sean Bush, these are two of the greatest minds of herpetology alive, take advantage of the opportunity.

What's his opinion on Irwin?
Since that started one of the greatest debates here, why not ask him too?

As a site we ought to work up a list of Standardized questions, then when an interview becomes available, try to tailor some more specific questions for the interviewee...

Wow, that is sweet!
Man I wish I knew more about venomous snakes so I could ask good questions...
how about...
Does he agree that king cobras are the most 'intelligent' snakes?
Is there any species he won't work with?
Has he been bitten?
Which does he believe has evolved the best (to be the most advantagous) rear-fanged
or front-fanged species?
What is his favorite non-venomous snake?

I would like to know what additional medical applications they have found for snake venoms, I know B. Haast was working on a treatment for M.S. from the venom of a species of Callaselasma.
Is he aware of any others?
