Hey All, Been Awhile..

[img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_cool.gif[/img] Hi all been awhile since i been here and was just hangin out for awhile and going through things trying to catch up alittle.. Hows everyone been?? Miss ya all tons.. Cassie goes in for a new MRI on the 1st of August and after taking this wierd medication for past few months lets hope it has worked..She has her days and still gets very sick, shes been having probs with bloody nose and her lips swelling up and shes been crashing into things more now and havin a hard time holding things with her left hand.. Shes mad and told everyone she wants to get her left eye fixed so shes gona be going to the eye doc for surgery on that in a month.. Shes got a huge lump on the back of her head and she says it hurts her when she bends over so i think maybe its where her skull was cut open.. gona talk to docs about that to.. So what alls been going on here?? Me been staying busy and taking in rescues and working with orphan birds.. I got a campout commin up in few weeks and also gona take cassie down state for her B-Day.. wow shes gona be 15 now, im praying and hoping that i have a party for her 16th B-day as well.. Had to put my neo mastiff down that was a real heartbreaker as well as not only did we love that dog and he was a family memeber but cassie was just devistated, that was her pal and buddy... Hey BWW...was thinking about you the other day and wondering how you and Cassie were doing.

Sorry to hear about your Mastiff...it's a royal drag when we have to say 'good-bye' to our canid buddies. [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_cry.gif[/img] I still think about my Border Collie 'Scotty' and it's more than a year that I had to put him down.

Despite the road-blocks along the way I'm glad to hear Cassie continues to put up the fight. You guys have a great time for her birthday, and give her a big birthday hug from all of us!!! [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

As for what types birds well so far we have taken care of a hurt great horned owl that was awhile back and few diffrent ducks and also a baby crow, robbin baby that got mauled by a dog, baby fly catchers that the crazy rescue cat has gottin outa our barn, bad kitty!! and at the moment im taking care of a blue jay that the cat was gona have for a snack... Cassie and i helped a woodpecker that bashed into the window, was flat out cold and wings sprawled out so we took care of it till it got its berrings back and then watched it go up a tree and finally fly away.. a lot of grouse get hit out here by cars wish there was some of them i could help but they are pancakes by the time i get there... Am I the only one to curse BWW now? Grrr...... How DARE you keep us hanging on wondering how our "daughter" is? I have been looking for you everyday wondering how things are.....

We have adopted her as our own, and would like to hear more. We all are here to support ya too!!

Glad to hear from you, and that Cassie is doing well. PLEASE keep us more up-to-date...I know life is hectic for you, but just pop in and say something when you can..
