My wife has been back in Wisconsin (Madison) for the past week and a half taking care of her Mother, who has recently had complications from past cancer surgery. We are in the very preliminary stages of discussion about the possibilty of a move to the Madsion area (don't ask me how this California kid is going to handle the weather in the upper Mid-west! ). At any rate it is still VERY preliminary. Nevertheless I'm investigating the possibilities.
My question is for any members who live in either Madison or Dane County if there are ordinances in regards to exotic pet ownership, specifically constrictors over 6' long, (i.e., my boas)? I looked on the Madison and Dane County web-sites, but didn't find anything in regard to this...but I'm thinking that may not necessarily mean anything. I have regretably given up boas a couple times in my past for relocation and to maintain (previous) marital bliss, but I am determined to avoid repeating that again. Fortunately my present wife is equally adamant about me not giving up our animals.
So, if anyone has any insight to my question I'd be very grateful! Thanks!
