OK, here goes a new feature I think could be good. I know we all se movies and basically a lot of us have the same taste in movies, so I figured I would pass along what I thought of the Marvel comics latest try at taking the comics to the big screen....
I was all set for another great Marvel movie like Spdier-Man and the X-men moives, but honestly I was severely dissappointed
I found the plot too drawn out. At 2 hours 18 minutes it was extremely difficult to sit through the weak story line just to get to see the great computer graphics. Someone also said the comic like story boards are brought to the screen and that was a little distracting. Even my kids, who have never seen the television series, were sadly dissappointed with it too.
So save your money and wait for it to hit video.
P.S. Marvel is releasing a newer version of The Punisher in 2004. The old version starring Dolph Lundren was a bleak look into the life of Frank Castle. I just hope this newer version takes after Spider-Man and The X-Men rather than the Hulk.
Anyone else who has seen this movie please post your comments and thoughts about it here.

1st off.. correction The Hulk is 2 hours 40 minutes
I think the movie is great with a good combination of story and action. As a huge movie watcher I have to anyone who does'nt like it because of its length went to see it expecting mindless action or has ADD. I would be severely upset if they did'nt include that 40 minutes of story. I have seen the movie on the big screen twice and going on a third time this week sometime.

Can't give my personal opinion as i have yet to see it, but i wont see it til it comes to the $3 theater or on video. My friend saw it and basically said what herpkingdom did, with emphasis on his dislike of "too much talking, not enough action"

TO correct Boaguys Correction, the movie is 2 hours 18 minutes long. I didn't include the 20+ minutes of previews
Action/Adventure, Drama and Science Fiction/Fantasy 2 hrs. 18 min.
(Direct Quote from the Yahoo movie section)
You are too young to remember the original TV show> I don't know if you read the comcis and for how long, but most of the plot and story was wrong and didn't refer to the comci as weel as SPider-man did. Even the X-Men movie stuck with some of the more important aspects of the comicsbooks.
I think my wife summed it up great!@......
She said the Hulk is just Shrek on steroids.

I had a feeling the movie would flop when I saw the previews, but was talked into seeing it anyways. I wish I hadn't. I thought it was fairly terrible, I never watched the old series or really read the comics but even still I found the plot and story lacking. I did enjoy however the cameo at the school. Although I have not been to see it yet, I have been told similar stuff that Herpkingdom said--kinda a let down.
The latest movie that I took the family to see was Rugrats Go Wild. Not sure who all has kids here, but they liked it...my wife and I were let down. We had seen the other Rugrat movies, and this one was a let-down compared to them.

How about another movie review?
Bruce Almighty
To me this is hands down one of the funniest movies I personally have seen, Hysterical.
The biggining was a long story simular to the hulk but less intresting, maybe the first 50 minutes. After that "Bruce" ends up finding god as a janitor on the 7th floor at 7:00 and ends up being given the powers of god. During the movie he can hear prayers in his head by the hundreds. later he finds out god only made it so he hears the prayers from people in his city.
Now I don't want to go into the whole story but this movie is quite funny and should not be missed.

Pirates of the Caribean: The Curse Of the Black Pearl
The movie starts as with a little girl, humming pirate songs "Yo ho ho its a pirates life for me" on the bow of a boat, which appears to be in the 1600's. One of the crew members grabs her on her shoulder which makes her scream. Explaining to her why pirates are bad, which she goes on to tell him she would love to meet a pirate and that she thinks they are "intresting". She ends up spotting a young boy floating on what appears to be a raft and she screams with other crew members and her father come to see whats the matter. In the distance they spot a ship completely bombarded in flames. They pull the boy on boat and the little girl is given charge to "take care of him"she takes out his necklace which has a pirate "charm" on it. she keeps it. The boy explains to her his name is william. Later in the movie he turns out to be her if you will "love intrest" (Orlando bloom... (Lord of the rings)) This is where you see a older adult "Little girl" wake up from bed in mid breathe (It was a dream of what actually happened years ago) This is where I cut you off.. intrested to see what happens.. go see the movie .
Anyway... This movie blows hulk or any other movie out there right out of the water. The effects are awesome and there is no long story yet it explains everything swiftly and gets right to the action. It is telling the story the whole time with action mixed in everywhere.
Anybody will love this movie so go see it!
John

I've heard just about the same thing from everyone that has seen it. Not really worth the money.
