Hot Dog Eating Poll
I had a thought the other day while eating a cold hot dog and a slice of bread.
What is the correct way to eat a hot dog and a bun, or a slice of bread?
It doesn't matter how the hot dog is cooked or not.

Opening facing UP with the top of the bun toward your hand. If the opening is facing anywhere but up, what prevents all your hotdog add on goodies from falling out?
To me, no hotdog is complete without:
Mustard
Cheese
Sauerkraut
Chili
More cheese
Hot Sauce
If you tried to make THAT face your hand, you would end up eating a naked hotdog and licking your hand!

I have to agree with most of that. Can't do sauerkraut though, it just smells terrible.

My first job in high school was at the hot dog stand. This is where I developed an intense love for chilicheese with onions AND plain hot dogs with ketchup, pickles, tomato, and onion.
Sometimes I go to the hot dog stand to get one of each. But I can't do it too often, because these days, it goes right to my love handles. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
Oh yeah, I like them to open at the top. Otherwise all the stuff falls out.

That's so weird, BL. Your post just reminded me that I had a dream about hot dogs last night. I had to order about 100 of them for a large group and have them delivered. I asked them to add ketchup and mustard to each one. They were gonna charge a dollar per hot dog to do that. Just when the unfairness hit me, I woke up.
