hey, while at the petstore today purchasing food for all my pets. I came across this beautiful little guy/girl. I was just wondering if you guys think its a good deal?? I will not be getting it for a week or two but I'm just wondering your opinions. It looks like a striped and it is only $40. Good size also.
I'd appreciate your opinions as soon as possible since I can only hold it for a week. TY

Looks pretty cool but do you want/need another animal to move in a couple of months?

I think that you have made a lot of purchases in the past few months. Don't get in over your head. As far as price, i have no idea, I have not paid wholesale for an animal in a very long time.

That is a pretty gecko there. $40's a bit high for a striped, but if you like it that much, then it's entirely up to you. I do have to agree with the others. Do you really want one more animal to move? Striped leos aren't all that hard to find. You can always find another from a breeder or whatnot after you move.

Well I am selling all my lizards. But instead of re-buying the same types, I was just going to get a leo pair instead of 5 more lizards. It will be much easier and cheaper. I was just going to buy it out there but since i will most likely ship them out, I may just buy this guy. He is so sweet and very calm. I love his tail too, its solid black and white stripes. Does anyone own leos like this?? If so are they adults. Im curious as to what they will look lke

SM, to put it as nicely and inoffensively as possible, that last post of yours has as much genius as a snake has fur. Why sell 5 lizards so you won't have to move them, then go right out and buy two more that you will end up moving? Take my advice, wait until you move before getting another animal. Especially one as readily accessible as a leopard gecko. There are other striped ones out there, they're not that hard to find, believe me. Why make it any more stressful on the gecko and your wallet? Leos don't keep their juvenile markings at all. Don't hold your breath. Think about this really hard, how many adult normal-colored leos have you seen that retained their juvenile markings? I'm willing to bet that number is ah...approximately zero.
