Fishing thread. Show us your fish!
I figured I would mix it up a little bit and see if you guys also share my other true passion, fishing. It doesn't matter if you fresh water fish, or salt water fish. Ocean to ocean, lake, to river, to pond, to mountain stream. Show us your fish!
These are all from 2009;
You think you got a Jewfish on, but you got a
..150LB Nurseshark!
Caught this 20" trout Kayak fishing at sunset.
Gotta love Florida. One of my favorite fishing holes from land.
24" Trout My personl best.
Redfishing from my JETSKI.
Brute of a Red 27's
These guys are always fun.
Red Grouper. Firetruck.
Pair of Cobia.
Beautiful Morning Red.
Night Snookin.
Red riding.
Good day offshore.
Huge Manrove Snapper.
You wouldn't understand the fight this guy put me through.
More Reds.
Wade fishing for Flounder.
Grouper from land? Haha
Juvi Red wade fishing.
Another Grouper from land. I've only done this twice.
Snappa.
Winter Trout.
My first bass ever. I don't ever freshwater fish.
I was speardiving and shot this guy on a Natural 300' Spring in the Gulf of Mexico.
I could never post up all of my fishing pictures but here is a start. :trink39[1
Now show us yours.

Re: Fishing thread. Show us your fish!
Wow! Nice fish guys. I have more fishing pics but they are oldschool film pics with no sd cards to put on the computer. I guess I need to do more fishing lol.

Re: Fishing thread. Show us your fish!
96blacksunshine, must be nice to live in Texas! You guys have a bigger stock with Reds. I think LA pushes them out every year. Here in FL we're only allowed to keep ONE Redfish a DAY and it MUST be in between the slot of 18"-27". What are your limits in TX? Beautiful Reds for sure. That's a mighty fine Jack you got there. I bet that was a good fight if it were on light tackle.

Re: Fishing thread. Show us your fish!
TOM, those are absolutely GORGEOUS king salmon! I'm going up to Michigan next weekend for a ski trip too bad I didn't plan a fishing trip like that. Those things are monsters, I am assuming that they are fantastic eating also. Thanks for sharing, it's just awesome to see the many different worlds of fishing!

Re: Fishing thread. Show us your fish!
I forget the limit. Thats why I dont leave home without my current hunting/fishing regulations book lol. It comes in handy. I do know our limit is way more than one for sure. Thats crazy. They do have to be 20 inches though. The jackfish felt like an anchor on the line for about 45 minutes on light tackle. Heck of a good fight.

I agree!!! Those salmon are freaking monsters! We used to flyfish in Arkansas under the Lake Greeson Dam which is the little Missouri river. I loved doing that. My buddies and I, we were teenagers, would catch trout all day then climb up the side of the mountain by the dam and cook them under the stars at our makeshift firepit/sleeping bag area. Good times for sure.

Impressive catches!
Be nice to Morti, he does the best he can with his exceptionally small rod.

Re: Fishing thread. Show us your fish!
Great pics guys, all mine are old school and can't be loaded up and I really wanna show a couple off lol. And for the redfish question earlier. In TX they have to be between 20"-28" anything over that you have to use your one tag. The daily limit is 3 per person. Wish I could post my old pic of my 28" flounder. Thought I was pulling in a Halibut lol

Re: Fishing thread. Show us your fish!
Seems like there's never a camera around when a catch a Big fish, but if LdyDrgn is around, it is guaranteed that I will catch one the size of those above.
Here's a couple of at least half decent ones that came out of Kentucky Lake:
And a "Good Eatin' Sized" catfish out of the Ohio River.

Re: Fishing thread. Show us your fish!
Hey Jeremy, I bet that stingray did put up a fight. i catch them all the time but they are usually 18 inches at their widest and they are like reeling in a piece of reef. Great catch!
