I've fed pinkies to my oscars, I've also fed beefheart which they LOVE... I fed crickets,
mealworms and crawdads too... their main diet was always the large pellets, they just
got this other stuff as treats. I only did the pinkies twice, it was messy. (well they are
always messy eaters!) My pair of tigers bred (they were in a 75 and both ~8"

but that
was when my ex and I broke up (he kept the fish, I kept the snakes). We didn't do anything
specific for them, (w/ my new b/f we've bred dovi, red tiger managuinse (I can't spell it)
and red devils) just have a pair and give them some flat rocks to lay on. Once, the fish just
moved the gravel away from the tank bottom and layed the eggs there. I would remove
the pl*co as they will eat the eggs. The oscars can be quite protective and aggressive so
it's a good idea to remove all other fish as they may be killed by the parents. Good luck!
(oh, and if you can syphon the babies out when they are still all staying together it's much
easier than letting them get big and then having to chase them down one by one lol)
